Well with -3°C this morning on my weather app, fall has definitely arrived! As we start to think about putting boats away and draining water lines, we felt that we wanted to have a chance to visit one last time for the season in the Duke’s Live Music space. And so - we are hosting an open house this Friday October 9th from 4-8pm. We would love if you wanted to stop by and say hi, have a bowl of chicken soup (Jeremy is making it RIGHT NOW!), brainstorm about next summer with us, play a game of crokinole, plug in an instrument, plunk on the piano, enjoy some drinks or desserts at a super reduced “don’t make us eat brownies all winter” price or just to stop quickly on the way to the cottage or on the way back from work.
Thank you for an absolutely incredible summer. Candice, Jim, Lily, Christina and our family feel so lucky to be able to welcome artists from near and far into our space and to enjoy the music with all of you. Music connects us all and feeds our souls. We are very much looking forward to planning for next summer’s shows, and in the mean time we will be attending other music events around Muskoka through this fall and winter and hope to see you there.
